Aluminum & Steel Plate Grapple

… has been developed especially for the handling and positioning of aluminum plates. Thanks to optional bolt-on compression rails, thinner steel plates can also be handled safely.

There are two versions available: for standrad truck cranes (-A) as well as for Z-cranes (-A-Z).

• Long service life as all hydraulic hosing is protected inside the shell carrier and arms and all bearings are generously dimensioned.
• Easy maintenance due to easy accessible greasing points. On-site exchangeable Vulkolan profile mats for secure gripping of plates.
• Precise positioning thanks to Kinshofer rotators: 4t or 6t rotator for standard version, 6t rotator for Z-crane version.
• Adjustable gripping height for up to 5 plates.
• Hydraulic drop protection with non-return valve for secure handling of loads even in the case of pressure drops.
• Two rows of pan head screws arranged at predefined intervals prevent the aluminum plates from tilting or slipping for additional safety.
• Double lowering brake valves in both main cylinders for safe working without unintentional opening or closing.
• Clever pressure sequence control allows for only one required hydraulic circuit.
• Optional: bolt-on compression rails with flattened profile for easy gripping of thinner steel plates.

At each construction site you will have the situation sooner or later that you have to handle large metal or wooden panels to cover up openings in the ground or to make silted access routes fit for traffic.

Thanks to the new KM 611 panel grapple, the loading and handling of these heavy, bulky panels is no problem at all. Also available as version for excavators.
