Clamshell Buckets with HPXdrive for Crane

… in combination with robust, versatile shells. Thanks to this drive system, the movement and closing force of the shells is constant and synchronized, generated by two hollow shafts, which run opposed and have a helix thread, hydraulically driven by a single piston. 
The HPXdrive is available as standard or heavy duty version for North America.

But no matter the size: There a no hydraulic cylinders required anymore!

A longer life cycle of up to 50% and the integrated self-lubrication as the drive unit runs in a permanent oil bath are also featured by the drive, as well as the compact design, making the HPXdrive resistant to dirt and debris. 

Versatility is granted by different types of available shells that can easily be refitted onto the unit.
The perfect alternative to cylinder-operated grapples that do not only save time and cost, but also facilitate every task.

The clamshell buckets with HPXdrive are available as Standard version for daily routine jobs or as Heavy Duty version, both with shell exchange system.

The KM 605HPX-Z is a version especially designed for Z-cranes. During transport or when not needed, the grapple rests against the crane arm without protruding the truck's width. 

A wide range of accessories, including scrapers, different mounting options and load hooks are available for all clamshell buckets.

KM 604HPX available in volumes 200 to 450 litres / 0.26 to 0.59 c.y. as complete ready-to-fit package: clamshell bucket, HPXdrive Standard, flange rotator, upper suspension, non-return and pressure relief valves. 

KM 626HPX available in volumes 95 to 150 litres / 0.12 to 0.20 c.y. as complete ready-to-fit package: clamshell bucket, HPXdrive Standard, flange rotator, upper suspension, non-return and pressure relief valves. 

KM 605HPX available in volumes 200 to 550 litres / 0.26 to 0.72 c.y. as complete ready-to-fit package: clamshell bucket, HPXdrive Heavy Duty, flange rotator, upper suspension, non-return valve. 

KM 605HPX-Z available in volumes 240 to 460 litres / 0.31 to 0.60 c.y. as complete ready-to-fit package: clamshell bucket, HPXdrive Heavy Duty, flange rotator, upper suspension, non-return valve. 

All HPX-packages are also available with shaft rotator and reduction link or quick change system.
