High Volume Clamshell Buckets for Crane

The KINSHOFER high volume clamshell buckets with horizontal cylinder are the ideal tools for handling loose material such as sand, gravel or soil – also perfectly matched to heavy duty work. The wide separation between the axes provide a wide opening and the buckets does practically not leave any 'left overs'. The widely positioned shell pivots ensure a good digging behaviour and high closing pressure. Cutting edges made of 500 HB steel and a generously dimensioned bearing system contribute to the longevity of the grapples.

The high volume clamshell buckets are available with wide (KM 602) and narrow (KM 622) shell carrier.

The buckets feature a cylinder protection and cutting edges, but no digging teeth (only on request).

A wide range of accessories is available for all high volume clamshell buckets.

KM 602 available in volumes from 400 to 650 litres / 0.52 to 0.85 c.y. as complete ready-to-fit package: clamshell bucket, rotator, short hoses, upper suspension, non-return valve.

KM 622 available in volumes 300, 400 and 500 litres / 0.39, 0.52 and 0.65 c.y. as complete ready-to-fit package: clamshell bucket, rotator, short hoses, upper suspension, non-return valve.
